I found this quote:
"All of us, single or married, are eternally part of some family--someway, somewhere, somehow--and much of our joy in life comes as we correctly recognize and properly develop those family relationships. We come to this earth charged with a mission: to learn to love and serve one another. To best help us accomplish this, God has placed us in families, for he knows that is where we can best learn to overcome selfishness and pride and to sacrifice for others and to make happiness and helpfulness and humility and love the very essence of our character. " ~John H. Groberg
Today, I'm feeling very blessed to have the family I have, the family I grew up in and to have friends and their families a part of my life. I am grateful to have had such wonderful parents that were compassionate, willing to sacrifice and love and lived the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful to have a husband that loves his children and wife and is willing to provide and sacrifice also, and cares about others happiness. I am grateful for such wonderful children that are helpful and bring joy to their parents and each other. It is a wonderful blessing to have a happy family willing to serve others. I love each of you! Thank you for bringing joy to my life!

Changes at home
I now have only 2 children living at home! Hard to believe. Jamie has officially moved out to go to college in College Station, Texas at Blinn College. We took her dresser up to her the past Monday and bought her groceries. She and two friends are living in a three bedroom house. Jamie and Taylor painted their bedrooms on Tuesday. Matthew and Kristen start school on Monday morning. They will both be in Junior high.
Matthew is in 7th and Kristen is in 6th. Gaining a little more room in our house is motivating to me and I have been cleaning, discarding, donating and organizing. Organization has been a life long pursuit for me. I'm finally seeing some real progress and more hope. I have two grandchildren now. Our little granddaughter was born on April 15, 2010. Her name is Eeva Laila Kelley. She is sweet and has a pretty little smile. We enjoy babysitting both Nathan and Eeva. Having grandchildren is another good reason to get my home organized. Today I took the bunk beds apart out of Matthew's room and put a twin bed frame. I'm so glad to have that done. I've been cleaning more out of the garage. I had a little garage sale for a few hours and made a little cash and took a box to Goodwill. Every little bit helps!

Summer Has Arrived!
It's June 4TH and it was the last day of school for us! I'm excited for a new relaxed schedule (somewhat). Kristen and Matthew are on our neighborhood Swim Team and they have a meet tonight. The month of June they will be busy with swim practices and swim meets. Sarah is busy with her job, being a lifeguard at the YMCA. Jamie will be busy with a few FFA activities this Summer, like the State Convention and Officer Camp. She is the Historian for the FFA Chapter at Katy High School. She is now a Senior! Matthew will be going to Junior High in August! They grow up so fast! I went to Matthew's 5TH Grade Awards Ceremony yesterday and they had their 5TH Grade Pool Party on Wednesday and had a great time!
